Business Challenge
Teacher Universe is an online professional development program run by Riverdeep, one of the fastest growing education software companies in the U.S., reaching more than 45,000 schools in over 20 countries worldwide. Teacher Universe, which enables educators to integrate technology into their curricula, wanted to create a huge splash to launch a package of curriculum integration and assessment tools on a tight, 60-day deadline. These new tools, offered in the Online Curriculum Integration Course, integrated word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, operating systems and Internet tools into curriculum for a richer student learning experience.Solution
Within the short turnaround time, WrightRobbins successfully:- Planned the product launch at the largest curriculum-based conference in the country, run by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD).
- Developed messaging and collateral to communicate the value of the Online Curriculum Integration Course.
- Created a new graphic image that played on the strengths of the company’s name and reflected their state-of-the-art technology, while emphasizing an accessible, friendly personality that appealed to educators.
- Developed a marketing and advertising campaign and new collateral including brochures distributed at the conference, web site copy, direct mail pieces and trade magazine advertisements to generate widespread attention and media coverage.
Results:
Teacher Universe generated over 500 qualified leads from the conference, saw a dramatic increase in Web site hits, and garnered two feature story placements in target publications; E-School News, Teacher Magazine and Education Week.
